Motorcycle air filters have two different layers of foam, a coarse outer layer and a fine inner layer, which work together very effectively. After the outer layer filters the air, the inner layer removes fine dust particles. Air filters are like the lungs of a motorcycle, a dirty or leaking air filter reduces the air supply to the engine. The air filter must be kept clean and lubricated. The air filter can be reused, it can be washed, use the products intended for this purpose to clean the filters, to lubricate the filter you can use filter oil, which is either in liquid form or in a spray. Coat the edge of the air filter with special Vaseline, which will increase the adhesion of the filter to its intended place. In very dusty environments, the air filter can be protected with an air filter cover. When washing the motorcycle, remove the air filter and replace it with a filter cover.
